Filling in the blanks

FullSizeRender 9

In any relationship, especially in a new relationship, there is a tendency to develop questions. What did he/she mean by that? Did they mean to imply this or that? Why are they taking so long to get back in touch with me? Are they losing interest? Are they mad it me? Did I say something wrong? The list is endless.

Rather than filling in the blank with a worst case scenario, it is better to have confidence and not fixate on a problem that may not exist. In fact, by delving too deeply into a perceived issue,¬†you may actually be creating one. It takes time to really get to know and truly understand another person. Relax and if a question comes to mind that you feel is important to have answered, then talk directly about it and don’t guess about the answer.
